Did you know?
Daniel Grayling “Dan” Fogelberg was an American singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, whose music was inspired by sources as diverse as folk, pop, rock, classical, jazz, and bluegrass music. He is perhaps best known for his 1981 hit “Leader of the Band.”
In 2004, Fogelberg was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. He underwent therapy and achieved a partial remission, which did not eliminate his cancer but reduced it and stopped its spread. In 2005, Fogelberg announced the success of his cancer treatments.
After battling prostate cancer for three years, Fogelberg succumbed to the disease on December 16, 2007, at his home in Deer Isle, Maine, with his wife Jean by his side. He was 56 years old.
Early diagnosis is crucial in successful treatment of prostate cancer. Help spread the awareness of early diagnosis and support the research. Please donate your vehicle to the Prostate Cancer Awareness Project today.
