Did you know?
In 2009, Senator Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut announced that he had prostate cancer in an early, treatable form, and pressed ahead with his reelection campaign.
A blood test during an annual physical indicated the possibility that he had cancer. A subsequent biopsy confirmed the diagnosis. The operation performed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan removed the prostate.
The cure rate for men whose prostate cancer is diagnosed in early stages is very high. Nearly 100 percent of men whose condition is diagnosed at this stage will be disease-free after five years.
Help prostate cancer research and increase the awareness of early diagnosis. Please donate your vehicle to the Prostate Cancer Awareness Project.
