Kia Rio Car Donation Coming From Concord, CA

Here we have a 2004 Kia Rio donation which came out of Concord, CA and is being processed in our Martinez facility. These cars are notorious for snapping the timing belt. At the same time, this can easily be avoided if the owners would just keep up on the routine maintenance for these cars.

A timing belt service should be performed every 60,000 miles on these vehicles. This particular donation only has 95,000 miles and this is likely what happened. Wait too long to change the timing belt and you will end up with a non-runner. Very simple fix for the DIY mechanic and I suspect this will still fetch decent funding towards prostate cancer awareness.
